No Collateral Bail Bonds

At Integrity Bail Bonds in Clearwater, we offer no collateral bail bonds in most cases

  • Have other agencies told you they require you to produce collateral for you or your loved one's bail bond?

  • When you call other agencies for a bail bond, did you get a high-pressure negotiation & fear-based talk?

At Integrity Bail Bonds, we offer no collateral bail bonds the majority of the time.

What is collateral? Collateral is tangible property that is required by other agencies to secure a bail bond. The collateral is used to guarantee the defendant's appearance in court. Most of the time, the collateral requirement is just not necessary with us. If we do require collateral, it is because we feel as though the defendant is a flight risk. If this is the case, we will generally let you know after assessing the situation in the first few minutes of our conversation.

In most cases, we are able to accept a signature as collateral for the bond. Again, if we are concerned about the flight risk of the alleged defendant, or if it is a larger bond and there is a co-signer (Indemnitor) who does not  meet our criteria, we will be honest and advise you that one of two things must occur:

  • You must find a better or more viable indemnitor. You will need someone who has the financial means to pay off the bond if the defendant fails-to-appear in court. Rest assured, we work with you to help in every way possible. For example, we will make telephone calls or reach out to who you think can provide collateral and explain the entire process and explain their responsibility of the liability involved to help you or your friend get released.

  • You will need something to insure us that the defendant will appear at each and every one of their court date proceedings. If collateral is what is absolutely necessary, we do not require "total collaterilization" of the bond. For example, if you have a one-hundred thousand ($100,000.00) dollar bond and, you own your own home, but have a mortgage on the property, in most situations this will suffice, provided there is some equity in the property. Another example is if you have a ten-thousand ($10,000.00) dollar bond and your car is valued at $4,100.00, this would probably be sufficient to get you, or your loved one released.

Again, these are only examples and in most situations we can write a no collateral bond. We work hard to get the bond executed for you or your loved one. We have been in the bail bond business in Pinellas County and throughout Florida for decades. Underwriting bail is our specialty. We pride ourselves on knowing how to negotiate and get a bail bond approved almost 100% of the time. "We will bail when others fail" is our belief and we aim to show you we get approval for you almost immediately
